The Institute of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology at Vilnius University, together with the Language Teachers’ Association of Lithuania (LKPA) and the International Federation of Language Teacher Associations – Northern and Baltic Region (FIPLV NBR), invites scholars and practitioners to the 10th International Scientific Conference on Linguistic, Educational, and Intercultural Research (LEIC Research 2026).

LEIC Research 2026 marks several important milestones: the 10th edition of the conference, which has developed into a key international platform for scholarly exchange in linguistics, education, and intercultural studies, and the 20th anniversary of the Language Teachers’ Association of Lithuania.

The conference is organised in partnership with the Institute of Foreign Languages of Vytautas Magnus University and the Department of Foreign Languages at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University, long-standing institutional partners of LKPA.

The conference will take place on 12–13 November 2026 at Vilnius University and will also be available in a hybrid format.

LEIC Research 2026 brings together researchers, university lecturers, teachers, and representatives of educational institutions to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and international cooperation. Participants from Lithuania and abroad are warmly invited to join this milestone event, which will strengthen collaboration within the Arqus European University Alliance and beyond.

This special event marks the 25th anniversary of the Institute of Foreign Languages, and we would be honoured to have you join us in celebrating this event.

Organized in collaboration with the Language Teachers’ Association of Lithuania and the ARQUS European University Alliance, the conference will be held in a hybrid format, allowing both in-person and virtual participation. Two institutional members of the Language Teachers’ Association of Lithuania (LKPA) the Institute of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology of Vilnius University and the Public Service Language Center together with the coordinators of the project – University of Western Macedonia (Greece) and project partners: the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer (Germany), the University of Évora (Portugal), the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE) (Romania), the Experimental Primary School of Florina (Greece), the Orgadata AG (Germany), and the Atlantic Veterinary Hospital (Portugal) have been implementing the Erasmus Strategic Partnership Project Thinking for Successful Jobs – Think4Jobs (2020-1-EL01-KA203-078797).
